Article Processing Charges (APC) Policy

Star of Sciences Multidisciplinary Journal (SSMJ) does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) or impose mandatory fees for manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, editing, publication, access, consultation, or digital preservation of scientific content.

The journal operates under an Open Access model with no charges for authors or readers. Its purpose is to promote the dissemination, preservation, and advancement of scientific knowledge. This model guarantees equal conditions for authors and institutions, without discrimination based on geographical location, institutional affiliation, or financial capacity.

The journal’s editorial, technical, and administrative management is undertaken by Estrella Ediciones Diginova S.A.S., as the publishing entity responsible for operational, technological, and editorial infrastructure support. Its participation does not entail mandatory charges for authors or readers and does not influence the journal’s academic or editorial decisions.

Any external and optional manuscript editing, translation, advisory, or preparation service that an author chooses to obtain will remain independent of SSMJ’s editorial process. The use of such services does not guarantee the acceptance or publication of a manuscript or provide preferential treatment during its evaluation.

All decisions concerning manuscript assessment, peer review, and the acceptance or rejection of articles are made independently and autonomously. They are based exclusively on academic, scientific, and ethical criteria, in accordance with the journal’s current editorial policies and international principles of good practice in scientific publishing.
